1. How much does delivery cost and how long does it take?


Delivery is free on orders of €75 or more within Ireland and Nothern Ireland, and usually takes 2-5 working days.

2. What is your policy for returns and exchanges? operates a strict 14 day Refund Policy and a 30 day Exchange Policy.

Items bought online can be returned or exchanged by post, or presented in your local store for exchange only. For full details, including our postal address, please visit our Returns & Exchanges page.


3. Do you offer an engraving service?


Engraving is currently available in-store only. To have your item engraved, please take it to any Fields store where our team will oblige you in having the piece engraved with your personalised message.

Items which can be engraved include watches (back), flat-disc pendants, identity bracelets, identity bangles and pens. This service will normally take up to 10-12 working days.

*Please note not all watches and jewellery can be engraved. Our instore team will be able to advise you if the item is unsuitable.


4. Is gift wrapping available?


Fields dispatch all of our fine jewellery in our famous unique green gift wrapping. Each item will be carefully packaged in one of our gorgeous presentation boxes that will protect your precious purchase.

All of our branded jewellery and watches are supplied in each brand’s own box or pouch and placed in a branded gift bag, where available.


5. Are the products pictured actual size?


Products pictured on the website are not the actual product size. Images have been enlarged to allow a more accurate view of each item. Actual product size can be derived from the dimensions - Height and Width - provided in each product description.


6. Which payment methods do you accept?


Online payments are accepted through credit/debit card transactions or PayPal.

We accept payments from all major credit cards, Laser cards and Visa debit cards.


7. How do I measure my ring size?


We advise that you have your finger size measured in one of our Fields Stores. Call into any branch and a member of our team will be delighted to help you find your ring size. As different styles of ring can vary in size, please specify what type of ring you would like to be measured for i.e. Wedding Ring or Dress/Engagement ring.

8. What is Vermeil?


Vermeil is an alternative to gold metal. A coating of gold is electrolysis-plated over pure sterling silver in order to give the metal a long-lasting Gold finish.

Vermeil is not a naturally occurring gold metal, and as a result of this over a prolonged period, the gold will wear away. However, Vermeil’s gold coating will last far longer than regular gold plating, as its surface must be at least 2.5 microns thick to be considered as Vermeil.


9. Are Fields diamonds from traceable sources?


At Fields we subscribe to the Kimberley Process (KP), a joint initiative between governments, industry and society which restricts the flow of Conflict Diamonds, used in the financing of wars against legitimate governments.

KP uses traceability systems in order to ensure that rough diamonds are shipped via tamper-proof methods and are government-certified as conflict-free. Under this process, shipments lacking legitimate certification will be rejected or impounded. As the diamonds continue their journey through the market, they are further certified as compliant with the Kimberley Process.

We insist that all our diamond and diamond product suppliers subscribe to the Kimberley Process and state this on their supply documentation. Hence, we warrant that all diamonds sold by Fields come from suppliers that adhere to the Kimberley Process.


10. What are the twelve birthstones?


Birthstones and relative months are as follows:

11. Do Fields offer Finance or Deposits?


Fields do not offer Finance on purchases in any of our stores, but we do accept deposits. Unfortunately this service is not available online.

Terms and Conditions of in-store Deposits with Fields:

  • First payment must be a minimum of 10% of the full value of the item(s)
  • Deposit term lasts 3 months from date of first payment.
  • All deposit payments to be made to the original holding branch of the deposit.
  • Item(s) strictly to be collected on date of final payment, not before.
  • Items not fully paid for within the three month payment term will be returned to stock and the customer will forfeit the deposit.
  • Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable.
