The watch’s ‘Samurai’ nickname derives from the case’s sharp, clean-cut, tapered edges that look as if they have been sliced off by a ‘Katana’ sword. The ‘King Samurai’ is different from the standard ‘Samurai’ in that it has a ceramic bezel instead of a stainless steel bezel which sits on top of the case, it is presented with luminous blue details. A 60-minute scale is present on the bezel, which allows the wearer to keep track of time spent under water. A luminescent pip is situated at the 12 o’clock mark makes it easier for the 60-minute scale to be read underwater.The black dial features a distinctive textured ‘hobnail’ style design. The simplistic layout of the dial ensures optimum legibility and avoids the risk of any complications.The strap is made from silicone and fastened with pin buckle. It is water-resistant up to 200 meters.
