Since 2009, Frederique Constant has been paying tribute to the legendary 1920s’ Runabout yachts. In 2013, the Brand started a partnership with the Riva Historical Society. For the first time, the collection now features a piece in a bright, contemporary electric blue, as bracing as a breaker and as refreshing as a trip out to sea. As well as cladding the dial, hands and hour markers, the all-new colour extends to the topstitching on the calfskin strap. The new version comes in 42-millimetre, with just 1,888 of each being produced. The Runabout Automatic models are powered by a FC-303 automatic calibre. The 26 jewel Swiss-made movement, beating at 28’800 times per hour with a 38-hour power reserve, is protected by 100-meter water-resistant case that is perfect for boating. Faithful to its tradition, this limited edition timepiece is delivered in a special box including a miniature wooden replica of a Runabout yacht, paying tribute to the iconic designs of the elegant sports boats of the roaring twenties. Limited to 1,888pcs worldwide.
