This limited edition timepiece is within a collection to commemorate the 145th Anniversary of the beginnings of Seiko as a Tokyo clock and watch repair shop in 1881.
In 1965, Seiko created Japan’s first ever diver’s watch, a groundbreaking timepiece that began the brand’s heritage in innovative diving watch designs. This 300m Air Diver features a silver dial with LumiBrite on the hands and indices ensuring clarity in the darkest depths. Its 40mm case features a super-hard coating for durability and an aluminium insert unidirectional rotating bezel designed for safe diving use. The second hand and bezel are in a shade of 'Seiko Blue.' The short pitch length bracelet features a Diver's slide adjustment clasp for greater comfort. On the case back is a limited edition engraving.
The watch is powered by the in-house 6R55 automatic calibre, delivering a 72-hour power reserve and accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day. Water resistant to 300m, it is built for professional diving environments.
Prospex is a combination of the words ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications.’ Seiko Prospex timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable; to meet the high standards required in extreme environments for sports lovers and adventure seekers alike.
